We are the Kiwanis Club of Los Altos, a volunteer organization located in the heart of Silicon Valley. When we aren’t busy raising money for our scholarships and grants programs, you can find us giving back to Los Altos through community service. We meet every every Tuesday at noon. Join us!

It’s that busy time of year for our club and this is your gateway to additional information!

First up, May 17 is the Kiwanis Special Games and this year we are back at the newly renovated De Anza College Track and Field! Your one stop shop for all things Kiwanis Special games is visiting The Official Special Games Website.

In case you need some inspiration to go to the games, or to get a friend to volunteer here is a wonderful video which sums up the event!

The very next day is our annual Pet Parade in Downtown Los Altos. This is a great event for the whole family! Your one stop shop for information is right here on our website on the Pet Parade page. While official registration is closed for this year’s event, we do not turn away people who want to march in the parade. Look for Kiwanis members and volunteers before the parade to see where you should be staged prior to the march down Main and State Streets.

Turkey Round Up

The Kiwanis Club of Los Altos donated 118 turkeys last week to The Ecumenical Hunger Program. Kiwanis members and volunteers from California Water Service Company transported more than 2,000 pounds of turkeys Nov. 16 to the non-profit’s facilities in East Palo Alto.
